Development History
Start-up stage:(2002~2004)
The predecessor of L&K Engineering was L&K System Integration Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “L&K Engineering Co., Ltd.”), and it was established on February 28, 2002. Aggregate investment of the company was 6 million dollars, and the registered capital was 3.2 million dollars. On the same day, L&K Engineering Co., Ltd. obtained the Certificate of Approval for Establishment of Enterprises with Foreign Investment in the People's Republic of China (WJMSFZZ [2002] No. 38980) issued by the people's government of Jiangsu province, and acquired License of the Business Corporation with registration number QDSZZ No. 020771.
2002~2004 was the basic development period of clean room engineering. During this period, on the basis of completion of Phase I clean room engineering of Suzhou HEJIAN Technology and under the technological guidance of technicians from the parent company Taiwan L&K Engineering Co., Ltd, a clear idea of air purification room was established by L&K Engineering. The company was one of the earliest manufacturers who do business on clean room engineering of large-scale chip plant. In April 2004, the company obtained Grade-B qualification of professional contractor for air purification.
Developing stage:(2005~2007)
In this period, air purification room was gradually developing in industries of the company, and related peripheral engineering, for example, whole plant machinery was integrated completely and systematically. During this period, benefitted from detailed plans, design and guidance, and strict requirements given by the parent company Taiwan L&K Engineering Co., Ltd, the company integrated related engineering such as whole plant machineries, product processes, and system framework of clean room, and at the same time, L&K Engineering also improved abilities of developing and purchasing international special materials and equipment. Meanwhile, complete testing standard and acceptance specification were established. By virtue of above successful cases, L&K Engineering. had abilities to construct the whole plant in international engineering and really did such cases. The company had actively invested professional engineering of air purification room, and deep known demands of system and processing. During this period with respect to professional knowledge of air purification room, L&K Engineering acquired related information about equipment and material at home and abroad and established complete searching net by cooperated with related industry environment. In addition, the company also received practical experience and knowledge of many years investment for design and construction of air purification room given by Taiwan parent company. Because of all above factors, the capacities and strength of contracting to construct large clean room engineering reached mature stage. At the same time, the company involved and expanded the market of production and product development.
Restructuring stage:(2008~2015)
L&K Engineering was approved by a consent approval for Suzhou L&K System Integration Technology Co., Ltd. Changing into a Foreign Investment Company (SWJMZ No.[2008]849) which was issued by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation.The company also obtained the Certificate of Approval for Establishment of Enterprises with Foreign Investment in the People's Republic of China (SWZSFZ No.[2008]38980) which was issued by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, and then L&K Engineering was wholly changed into foreign investment company. The registered capital was RMB 160 million. On September 28, 2008, the company made registration of changes at Jiangsu Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce, and the registration number of license of the business corporation was 320594400003711. During this period L&K Engineering obtained multiple certificates, such as Grade-A qualification of general contractor for electromechanical engineering, Grade-A qualification of professional contractor for building mechanical and electrical installation engineering, Grade-B qualification of professional contractor for electronic and intelligent engineering, Grade-B qualification of professional contractor for fire engineering, Grade-B qualification of professional contractor for building decoration engineering, and pressure pipeline installation GC2. During this period, the company contracted for constructing 8 and 12 inch wafer factories, and plan, design, and construction engineering of TFT-LCD production plant. L&K Engineering made great breakthroughs on major key technologies.
Prosperity stage:From 2016 to present
On December 30, 2016, L&K Engineering was officially listed on the main board of Shanghai Stock Exchange. The stock abbreviation was L&K Engineering , and the stock code was 603929. 53.36 million Shares in all were issued, and issue price was RMB 4.94 per Share. Total capital stock was 213.36 million shares after the release. The first T + W (a mode refers to that a company is on the market in Taiwan China, and at the same time its subsidiary corporation is on A-share listing) mode company was then realized at cross-straits. This was the first case that a subsidiary corporation split from Taiwan parent company listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange. Listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange was a great milestone of development of L&K Engineering, which marked that L&K Engineering. formally entered the mainland's capital markets. Listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange greatly contributed to development of L&K Engineering
L&K Engineering has been awarded High-tech Enterprise Certificate jointly by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Local Finance, Jiangsu Provincial State Taxation Bureau and Jiangsu Provincial Local Taxation Bureau. It is a headquarters enterprise of Suzhou Industrial Park, a headquarters enterprise of Suzhou City, a multinational regional headquarters enterprise of Jiangsu Province, a dust-free room clean engineering technology research center, a gas molecular pollution control system engineering technology research center of Suzhou Province.
In July 2020, L&K Engineering successfully acquired Ronggong Construction Engineering (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. to further expand its construction engineering market and enhance the scope of its integrated engineering construction services.
L&K Engineering has made investment to expand the engineering R&D center, and in the future, it will make continuous efforts in the field of engineering application technology. Based on Suzhou, it will develop throughout China and serve the whole Asia.
