Ronggong Construction Engineering (Chongqing) Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of L&K Engineering (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., undertook Youyou Food Industrial Park Project (Phase II), which is located at No. 130, Jianshan Road, Bishan District, Chongqing City. This Project is the first 10,000-ton freezer in Bishan District invested and built by Youyou Company and also one of the key listed projects in Bishan District. As the general construction contractor, our company mainly undertook earth and stone work, pile foundation, civil foundation, main structure of civil engineering, masonry and secondary structure, decoration, waterproofing work, general mechanical and electrical engineering, outdoor water supply and drainage engineering, outdoor road works, etc. 

When implementing Youyou Food Industrial Park Project (Phase II), the project department insisted on the implementation of “three-level education”, “three-level disclosure”, “daily pre-construction toolbox meeting” and other ways to strengthen the personal and team safety awareness of managers and operators. Besides, it strictly controlled the construction quality at the site, actively cooperated with the needs of the owner, coordinated with all parties, solved technical problems, and organized the allocation of labor resources. 

The construction of pile foundation in the early stage was very difficult. The site was the original backfill dumping area, and contained different sizes of boulders without being rolled. In the process of hole-forming of pile foundation, the collapse was serious, and the underground water level was high, so it is difficult to form holes. The project department prepared several special construction schemes – [Pile Foundation Hole Collapse Treatment Scheme, All-steel Pile Casing Follow-up Construction Scheme, Double-layer Steel Pile Casing Scheme, Concrete Refilling and Replacement and so on], and randomly selected 5 experts [in Foundation construction] from expert database of Chongqing City to carry out an expert argumentation and got the expert advice. Based the expert advice, the on-site construction was guided. After three months of foundation construction, the construction of pile foundation was successfully completed. The whole project department, facing the difficulty, gave full play to the spirit of overcoming difficulties through thick and thin and successfully realized the project node target of the owner. 

At the same time, the project department has been actively cooperating with the supervisor and the owner’s management and supervision, and strictly controlling the quality and safety while following up the progress. Thus it won the owner’s affirmation and praise, and received a trophy of Excellent Project Management Team and a letter of commendation from the owner.
